Your jewelry from Offspring is made by hand and built to last, but even the strongest metal appreciates a little love. Here is how you keep your pieces looking good
Sometimes I don’t follow my own advice, simply because I love wearing my pieces all the time. Plus, no matter how perfectly you take care of your silver jewelry, it will naturally oxidize and lose some of its sparkle over time. It’s just what silver does.
Luckily, it’s an easy fix, which brings us to…
Rinse your silver jewelry in warm water, and use a medium to soft toothbrush with a bit of mild dish soap to gently rub away any dirt. Rinse it again in clean water, and pat it completely dry with a soft towel.
To really restore the original shine of your sterling silver, line a small bowl with aluminum foil (shiny side up). Mix boiling water and a generous amount of salt together in the bowl, and let your jewelry sit in the mixture for just 10 seconds. Watch the magic happen as it instantly regains its shine and removes the tarnish.
For heavy tarnish, simply repeat the process.
Important!: Lastly, rinse the jewelry in clean water and wipe it off until it’s totally dry.
